Big Creek and Cosby trip

Bill and I enjoyed two days in the mountains, on the east side of the the Smokies. Henry and Jane joined us for a hike at Big Creek. We spent the night at Cosby Campground in the park and hiked to on the Gabes Mountain trail to Henwallow Falls the next day.

What a joy to have family and "almost family" gathered to celebrate.

Tending the Garden

On my hands and knees

in prayer and supplication 

before the God of all creation,

that my labor bring forth fruit 

to feed our bodies and our souls,

that the Glory of His Kingdom

springs forth upon the earth.
